As part of our school's programme of bringing learning to life, we are grateful to work with companies in and around Hull for opening their doors and giving primary school children a chance to see what goes on inside a business.
One such visit was to S&J Synergy, they put on a great day giving the children a hands-on experience on daily life within their business, which is recycling.
The children did some litter picking, learning what can and can't be recycled and sorting into bins, climbed aboard a skip lorry talked to the driver, interviewed a prospective employee in a really fun way and learned all about various jobs within their industry, finishing off with a Q&A with the business owner.
A really engaging day and judging by the feedback, the children loved it, I am sure they have seen something that will inspire them in the future.
