Last1 week a group of 15–17-year-old adventurers from the Step Up Move On programme boarded the 72ft CatZero yacht for a morning of challenges, teamwork and adventure.
The experience gave them a unique opportunity to learn the basics of sailing such an impressive vessel. With all hands on deck, the group worked together to operate the locks, hoist the sails and navigate as a team.
By the end of the session, everyone had grown in confidence and discovered the importance of communication and collaboration. Reflecting on the experience, each young person felt they had learned something new about themselves and achieved something truly special.
