We returned to the wonderful Goxhill Meadows to work with the range of animals on site. The children learnt how to be mindful and calm around the animals as they pick up on our moods and body language. They worked with mini-goats, sheep, Shetland ponies, chickens and even guinea pigs.
All of the children were very nervous at the start of the day, but by the end they all wanted to work with animals and said they had done at least one thing today that scared them!
We also had another creative STEM session at the wonderful Maker Space. The children learnt all about circuits and coding, they created their own junk robots and programmed them to move, make different sounds and even race each other! Definitely some future scientist here.
