For their final experience, our children’s board invited our valued corporate partners to a spectacular event yesterday at the impressive Northern Film Studios.
After 2 years serving on our board, these children are about to start secondary school. They were so brave presenting to a room full of grown ups and even getting interviewed by our chancellor Rt Hon Alan Johnson.
They reflected on all the wonderful experiences they’ve had in the past two years, including trips to London, business visits, creating podcasts, using VR, visiting Spurn Point and “I even got to meet the real Lord Mayor”.
We are so proud of these remarkable children and everything they have achieved. A shining example of being ACE…Aspirational, Confident & Engaged.
We hope our partners and guests enjoyed the event as much as we did. We definitely noticed a few tears, listening to the impact their support has. Everyone's attendance really meant a lot to the children and they thoroughly enjoyed ‘networking’.
