Based in Hull, J. Marr Seafoods play a key role in the UK’s seafood industry, specialising in sourcing, processing, and supplying high-quality seafood products. With strong roots in the local area, they are not only an important employer but also a business committed to supporting their community.
Over the past year, J. Marr Seafoods have made an incredible contribution to our work and the young people we support. During 2024/2025, they helped make a truly memorable experience possible by supporting a class of children on a trip to London, many of whom were visiting the capital for the very first time. This opportunity broadened horizons, created lasting memories, and inspired new ambitions.
Their support didn’t stop there. J. Marr Seafoods also hosted an engaging experience day at their site, giving children a valuable insight into the world of work and the seafood industry. They brought energy and enthusiasm to our football tournament by entering a team, and they joined us at our Children’s Careers Fair, helping to inspire young people as they explore future pathways.
In total, J. Marr Seafoods have provided over 1,000 hours of direct intervention! This incredible contribution has made a real and lasting difference to children and young people across our region.
