Our gold partner HFR Solutions is used to training brave firefighters and emergency responders but throughout this year they have been training those slightly younger than usual.
Children have had the opportunity to see what it’s like to work at height and in confined spaces. They have learnt how to put out fires and taken part in some first aid training.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the day with one child claiming, “it’s helped me conquer my fears. I used to be scared of heights but I’m not any more.”
A class teacher remarked, “It’s really nice to see different children be given the chance to shine. All the children have been engaged throughout the day and it has got them thinking about their futures.”
