They were blindfolded, put on a bus, driven to an unknown location and then made their way back to HQ with zero tech, maps or clue of where to head. All in that heat too. We are so incredibly proud of all of our fundraisers who took on this unique challenge. There are a few sore legs and blisters today but what an amazing achievement!
Our HEY Children’s Uni team walked 13 miles, 30,000 steps and arrived back at HQ to ring the bell in 4hours and 20 minutes!
A huge thank you to Paula at Becker UK , Liz, Sarah and Hannah from MS3 Networks Limited and Joanne from Oxley Garage Doors Ltd for joining us, putting their best foot forward all in the name of charity and inspiring our region’s next generation.
Collectively they have raised over ÂŁ2,000 for HEY Children's University and we could be more grateful for their support. This money will help ignite so many dreams for local school children!
