Reality Solutions brought together businesses from across Hull and East Yorkshire for their annual charity golf day at Cottingham Parks, raising an incredible £6,023 for Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University!
This year’s event was a huge success, with Reality Solutions more than doubling the amount raised at last year’s golf day! An amazing achievement and a testament to the generosity of everyone involved.
22 teams took to the course, including Prestige Recruitment, Eazycomm, TCF, HSBC, Quickline Communications, SPS Security, Sewell Group, Neill & Brown Global Logistics, BTG, Greenland Seeds, Magiccote, Lab Systems, Turner Clifford, Hull FC, Electric Centre, Whitaker Tankers, Alan Wood, Airkool, Cambrian Granite and Arrow Tracking.
There was plenty of friendly competition throughout the day, with Prestige Recruitment taking the top spot with an impressive score of 89.
Most importantly, the day raised £6,023 to support the work of HEY Children’s University. The funds will help us provide inspirational learning experiences for children growing up across Hull and East Yorkshire, giving them opportunities to discover new places, meet new people and see the possibilities available to them beyond the classroom.
Speaking about the incredible total raised, Rose James, our CEO said:
“Thank you to every person who bought tickets, sponsored or took part in the raffle. The money raised really will make a difference to what we can give our children and I can't wait to see their smiles when they attend their trips.
“We had a fantastic day with all of you and we hope you enjoyed it too! If you would like to get involved with our charity in any other way, please get in touch.”
A huge thank you to the entire Reality Solutions team for the time, effort and enthusiasm that went into organising such a brilliant event, and to every business and individual who entered a team, sponsored, donated prizes or contributed to the fundraising.
We were delighted to join everyone on the day and were made to feel incredibly welcome, there was certainly no shortage of laughs, friendly competition and brilliant company!
